The project was partially funded by the European Union under Priority 13 of the Operational Programme: “Promotion of Actions to Tackle the COVID-19 Crisis and Preparation for Economic Recovery”, Measure No. 13.1.1-LVPA-T-858-01 “COVID-19 R&D Studies.”
The objective of the project was to develop a cost-effective and rapid medical device for detecting a specific SARS-CoV-2 viral gene in test samples. As a result, an electrochemical analyzer was successfully developed for the detection of COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases.
